Amazon CloudFront lowers both the technical and financial bar that's long been required for delivering content via a CDN while improving customer experience for companies of all sizes. OVERVIEW Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) have been around for more than 15 years. CDNs are the key enabling technology behind successful consumer-facing sites in verticals such as media and entertainment, software download delivery, gaming and ecommerce. CDNs give content owners and publishers the ability to rapidly scale to meet increasing user demand all over the world on multiple devices and on different platforms.
